SHERLOCK HOLMES

Oke, mungkin dia bisa dibilang doi gue. Iya, gue cinta mati 3 sama Sherlock Holmes. Bahkan cita-cita gue yang (agak) sampah yaitu pengen jadi detektif tuh terinspirasi oleh The Great Sherlock Holmes! *sembah Sir Arthur Conan Doyle* 

Meskipun gue tau gue gak jenius, bahkan pinter juga kagak, apalagi jenius lol tapi gue jago berimajinasi.

Nah! kali ini gue gak akan ngelantur nulis postnya (ya pendahuluan di atas udah tergolong ngelantur sih) tapi kali ini gue akan membahas The Canon of Sherlock Holmes. Apa sih Canon itu? cekidot!

Canon di sini bukan merek kamera yang dibawa-bawa sama anak gaul jaman sekarang (ya gue emang ketinggalan jaman, anak sekarang mah bawanya GoPro, temennya Gojek). Canon di sini artinya setara sama original gitu deh. Gue gak tau arti persis dari kata 'canon' ini, tapi bagi para fangirling pasti tau kalau canon itu segala sesuatu tentang objek fangirling tersebut yang emang sesuai sama cerita originalnya, jadi gak dibuat-buat sama para fansnya atau gak diedit sedikit pun. Mungkin beberapa dari kalian tau kan fanfiction itu apa? nah fanfiction itu bukan canon, karena dia gak asli ditulis sama penulis original dari cerita tersebut. Semoga kalian ngerti ya penjelasan gue yang gak seberapa ini.

The Canon of Sherlock Holmes ini konsepnya tuh ngebedain mana karya original Sir Arthur Conan Doyle dan mana karya yang dibuat oleh penulis lain. Jadi kan banyak tuh penulis-penulis yang bikin cerita tentang Sherlock Holmes juga, nah istilah canon ini yang membedakan punya Sir Arthur Conan Doyle sama punya penulis yang lain.

The Canon of Sherlock Holmes terdiri dari 56 cerita pendek (kasus pendek) dan 4 buah novel. Gue akan ngasih tau kalian daftar dari cerita-cerita yang ditulis oleh  Sir Arthur Conan Doyle ini sesaat lagi!

Novel Sherlock Holmes yang ditulis oleh Sir Arthur Conan Doyle ada 4 yaitu:

1. A Study in Scarlet (diterbitkan tahun 1887)

    (Judul dalam Bahasa Indonesia: Penelusuran Benang Merah)

2. The Sign of the Four (diterbitkan tahun 1890)
    (Judul dalam Bahasa Indonesia: Empat Pemburu Harta)

P.s: gue punya novelnya tapi ada di kosan dan sekarang gue lagi di rumah jadi gak bisa fotoin. nanti kalo gue inget dan gak mager, gue fotoin ya gaiss.

3. The Hound of the Baskervilles (diterbitkan tahun 1902)
    (Judul dalam Bahasa Indonesia: Sherlock Holmes & Anjing Iblis Keluarga Baskervilles)

4. The Valley of Fear (diterbitkan tahun 1915)
    (Judul dalam Bahasa Indonesia: Lembah Ketakutan)

P.s: gue nyari novel ini susah banget kayak nyari jodoh, nah terus gue ke gramedia mall alam sutra kan, gak ada niat beli buku sebenernya, tapi tiba-tiba mata gue menangkap seonggok(?) novel ini dan tanpa pikir panjang sepanjang hari-hari yang gue jalani sebagai jomblo, langsung gue beli ini yeay! tapi novel yang gue beli ini edisinya punya judul yang beda sama aslinya, tapi ceritanya sama kok. kusenang.

Nah! selanjutnya ada kasus pendek juga yang ditulis oleh Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, kasus-kasus ini diterbitkan pertama kali di majalah The Strand.
